Hannah:  dog lover, knitter, blogger, web designer and all around yoga geek

In a move of “I don’t need no stinkin’ man to make me happy” girl-power I decided it was time to try something new. Something that would make me thinner and buffer and have perfect skin so that I was ridiculously hot (for all those men that I didn’t need.) Yoga was top of the list.

Little did I know when I first stepped on the mat that yoga would become so much more. It would help to heal my heart, calm my mind, and become a giant force for great, happy change in my life. It would become such a big part of my life that I would feel driven to teach so that I could share that gift with others.

And now yoga is so many things to me. It is my expression when I’m feeling up. It is my support when I’m feeling down. It is my prescription when my joints feel loose. It is my antidote when my muscles are tight. It brings me power and strength and peace of mind. It provides a place of serenity when I am on my mat. And it provides guidance in all the moments in between.

Yoga has changed me. And, for that, I forever bow humbly in gratitude.
